Why ArteraQ Is Going Offline (And Why Galleries Love It)

I’ve spent the last few weeks building something I didn’t originally plan for ArteraQ: a desktop version.

The idea actually came from conversations with galleries. A few people basically told me, “I don’t want another subscription. I just want something that works on my computer.”

That made sense.

So I built a native Mac version of ArteraQ. No browser and no internet connection required, except for optional AI features. Your catalog, images, and other data stay on your computer instead of being stored on ArteraQ’s servers.

You get full access for 30 days, and after that there’s still a free version you can continue using.

It’s definitely v1. Apple Silicon only for now, and there are still things I want to improve.

But it works, it’s usable, and it’s finally out there.

Kind of interesting how talking to users keeps taking ArteraQ in directions I never expected when I started.
