ArteraQ is finally open for sign-ups.
It’s been a bit of a journey getting here. Over the past few months, I’ve talked to gallery owners, art advisors, collectors, artists, and collection managers. What I learned from those conversations changed quite a bit of what I originally planned to build.
ArteraQ is my attempt to make managing artwork a little less scattered — inventory, provenance, documents, valuations, locations, and all the other information that tends to end up across spreadsheets, folders, and different tools.
It’s still early, and there’s plenty I want to improve, but I think it’s at the point where I need more people actually using it.
So I’m opening it up.
It’s free to sign up and no credit card is required.
If you manage artwork for a gallery, advise collectors, or manage collections, give it a try. I’d especially like to hear what doesn’t work, what’s confusing, or what you think is missing.
